Need your statuesque comments

Kitchener city hall now has a webpage and survey where  you can sound off about the $2-million proposal to put 22 statues of Canadian Prime Ministers in Victoria Park.

Project promoters (see previous blog) are asking Kitchener taxpayers to contribute $300,000 to cover the cost of statue bases and landscaping.

To date, several members of the Victoria Park Neighbourhood Association and the Victoria Park Working Group have argued that the bronze statues should be spread through the park instead of being located around the Common area in front of the clock tower.
